Woodbridge is a geographic and postal location in Prince William County. Its’ boundaries are determined by 3 ZIP codes – 22191, 22192 and 22193. The Woodbridge area has a population of approximately 90,000 people.In the Commonwealth of Virginia if you live in a county (that’s the vast majority of us) all of your services are provided by the county. SLUGGING (some erroneously call it hitching a ride which it is) is a result of the need to use HOV lanes on the I-95 as much as possible. Commuters form a line at a designated Slug Stop A driver will pull up who is headed for the Pentagon, but needs one more passenger to qualify for HOV-3. The first person in line going to the Pentagon will join the others in the car and away they go. It’s free commuting for the slugger and gives the driver availability to HOV lanes on I-95 – win win!!

There are shopping centers with stores that serve the normal day-to-day needs within 15 minutes or less of any subdivision in Eastern Prince William County
Three subdivisions have two or more shopping centers within the subdivision. They are Lake Ridge, Dale City, Montclair.
One of the most recognizeable signs along I-95 as you pass through Prince William County VA is the gigantic Potomac Mills sign. It is one of the largest discount malls on the Eastern Seaboard and home to more than 200 outlet stores. Some of the more famous names are Nordstrom’s and Saks 5th Avenue.
Over the last 10 to 15 years a very large number of malls, restaurants and hotels have sprouted within the vicinity of Potomac Mills. RECREATION
There is no shortage of public recreational facilities in Woodbridge and Prince William County VA. Both Manassas National Battlefield Park and Prince William Forest Park are under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service while Leesylvania State Park is operated by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation. The other parks in this section are operated by the Prince William County Park Authority. Additionally, many subdivisions have their own pool and tennis courts.
